You are not alone in your pain. For everything impermanence is a reality. Everything changes as we ride the tide of life. Reach out to those you trust. We find comfort in the arms of those who most likely have or will soon experience similar feelings. I find my dearest women friends hold me up in times like this. I send you deep compassion.

There is some evidence that "happiness" takes a hit in the 30s and 40s for many people, and then recovers. Knowing that doesn't make it any easier, but suggests that brighter days lie ahead. 🌻☀️

Thank you for your vulnerability and the way you express it so candidly. Draw, paint, read, write. Do whatever helps you through these moments of your life that feel so daunting.

It is not absurd at all, one feels your intense pain and passion through your writing, especially as a woman. I hope you find happiness and fulfilment in whatever form it takes for you.

I think the loss of joy and the soulcrushing weight on us may be from the psychological barrage of news, cultural and social landscape around us in the Western world. It seems like everything has been sucked dry of beauty, hopes, dreams, warmth and kindness, and even just meaningful human interaction.

I can relate to having a compulsive book obsession and often feel there is so much I am hungry to read about and so little time in life. In finances and circumstances allowed, I would go back and get different educations, in fields where you would never find work, just for the joy of learning, reading and writing.
